determined based on qualification. The length of this appointment is up to
3 years. The focus of the project is to develop and validate computer
models that can be used to simulate the biomechanical and neuromuscular
limitations of a person to terminate movement while maintaining balance.

Description: Responsibilities will include formulating mathematical
equations for dynamic model, computer simulation/optimization for movement
termination and balance recovery. Responsibilities may also include
assisting with experiment verification of balance control theories that
requires data collection, processing and analysis. Individual is
encouraged to disseminate research findings and to develop new projects.

Qualifications: Applicants should have a doctoral degree or equivalent
level of experience in modeling and simulation of human movement, and
control systems related to biomechanics; experimental background is helpful.
