Position Opening:


ASSOCIATE BIOMATERIALS SCIENTIST (REF: ABS)

This position requires technical leadership in the development of new
bone grafting products. Responsibilities include:

Independent management and performance of mechanical testing
projects.
Preparation and delivery of testing protocols, technical reports,
summaries.
Quantitative and qualitative analysis of data using statistical
software tools for regression analysis, hypothesis testing and other
standard statistical tests.
Benchtop level product development/biomaterials characterization.
Provide hands-on engineering of instrumentation, fixturing, and
custom-built devices for use in testing and product development.
Coordinate and assist in preclinical testing, prototype development
and other aspects of new product development.


QUALIFICATIONS:

M. S., M. E., preferred or equivalent in Bioengineering, Biomaterials
or related field, and 1-3 year's experience.

Will consider B. S. in Bioengineering or Biomaterials with at least
3-5 year's experience.

Will be involved in multiple simultaneous projects.
Must have computer proficiency and skills in statistical and data
analysis.
Orthopaedic/Bone research experience desireable.
