Dear biomch friends,

When a pullout test is carried out, how important is
the displacement? For example, if a 12mm screw was
inserted, a highest peak of 300N at a displacement of
3mm. The peak falls tremendously to zero and below
zero, after it hits the 300N before it even reaches
the displacement of 6mm.

Can anyone explain , please?

Your kindness reply is very much appreciated.

Thank you very much.
