Position in Spine Biomechanics

University of Ulm, Germany

A two-year position is available for the study of whiplash injuries.

This university funded position will focus on the development of an
apparatus to create whiplash injuries. Biomechanical studies, x-ray,
MRI evaluations shall characterize these injuries. Candidates should
have a masters degree in Bioengineering with a focus on mechanics.
Prior experience with experimental testing is preferable but not
required since comprehensive training will be provided. This position
will provide substantial expertise in the biomechanics of the spine
(in vitro and in vivo studies, implant testing, histology etc.).
