The Department of Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University has
a position available for a tenure-track, 9 month, full time faculty
member in our Master of Physical Therapy program. The effective
starting date is September 1, 2000.
Qualifications: A physical therapist with an earned Doctorate is
preferred. Eligibility for licensure as a physical therapist in the
state of Washington is required, as is a commitment to graduate physical
therapist education. The successful candidate will be expected to have
the expertise required to teach Gross Anatomy. Expertise in orthopedic
physical therapy is highly desirable. The successful applicant will be
expected to advise students, mentor student research projects, and
pursue scholarly activity in his/her area of expertise. Other
responsibilities include service to the university, the community, and
the profession. Rank and salary are commensurate with experience. A
Ph.D. is required for tenure.

Eastern Washington University is a public comprehensive university
