The Spine Society of Europe Travelling Fellowships 2000
The Spine Society of Europe is pleased to announce the 2000 travelling Fellowships. Four Fellowships are available. The Fellows will travel as a
group to some of the most respected centres for the treatment of spinal disorders in Europe in May 2000. They will have an unequalled
opportunity to observe and listen to the European leaders in spinal surgery, both for deformity and other conditions. Non-surgical management
will also be included. The duration of the fellowship will be four weeks. Accommodation at the host centres will be provided.
Travelling expenses will be covered to the sum of 4,000 Euros.

Conditions for Application.
Fellows should be under 40 on 31st December 1999.
Fellows must be free to take up the whole of the four week programme.
Selected Fellows will be expected to join the Spine Society of Europe and
o present a report at the Society's meeting in Antwerp in October 2000.

How to Apply
Applications will be made by CV.
Each applicant should include one side of A4 on why they wish to take up the fellowship. Each application must be accompanied by a letter of
recommendation from the Head of Department, which should also confirm that the applicant will be given leave to travel. Each application should

recommendation from a member of the Society (If the Head of Department is a member then this need not be repeated) Each applicant must submit
three abstracts for presentations to be given during the Fellowship Programme. Only one Fellow will be selected from any one Country.
