The University of Virginia, Department of Mechanical and Aerospace
Engineering in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, is seeking
applicantions for a Research Assistant Professor position. Qualifications
include a Ph.D. in engineering, with strong background in impact
biomechanics and ability to maintain and manage externally funded research
programs. Position involves use of non-linear dynamic finite element
software, such as DYNA-3D, and multi-body dynamic software, such as MADYMO.
Applications are in automobile safety, injury prevention, and biomechanics.
