    Motor Development
    Tenure-track Position
    Division of Kinesiology & Health Promotion
    * Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the area of Motor Development
    and in at least one of the following areas:
    Motor Impairment, Measurement & Evaluation, or Pedagogy. Other assignments
    may be made based on the appointee's
    breadth/depth of knowledge and experience.
    * Provide leadership in coordinating and integrating expertise with other
    curricular areas and activities, serve as liaison between
    the university and relevant community organizations in establishing
    internships and promoting movement/exercise programs.
    * Develop and maintain a record of research/scholarly activity in area of
    * Advise and direct student research, theses and projects.
    * Responsible to department for assigned teaching load, committee work, and
    student advisement.

    * Earned doctorate in Kinesiology /Physical Education/Sports Science with
    specialization in Motor Development, and evidence
    of a lifespan approach to the area. (ABD's will be considered provided that
    the dissertation is completed prior to appointment.)
    * Evidence of successful teaching performance in relevant areas.
    * Evidence of focused ongoing scholarly and creative activity, established
    publication record, & potential for obtaining external
    * Evidence of significant professional and leadership activities
    * Evidence of experience/ability to interact successfully within a
    multicultural environment. Ability to collaborate and work
    harmoniously with students, colleagues, and community.
    Assistant/Associate Professor (tenure track). Salary commensurate with
    qualifications & experience.
