post-doc position
or
assistant ship leading to a PhD degree
(prerequisit is a Dipl.-Ing. or MSc degree
in Mechanical Engineering or a similar area)
is available as a joint appointment of the
Biomechanics Section
Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg
and the
Orthopaedic Department General Hospital Barmbek.
The position is available through a research grant of
the DFG for the investigation of the use of water jet cutting
technologies for revision endoprosthesis surgery.
The duration of the position is limited to 2 years but
has the option to be renewed for another 2 years. The
position is available immediately.
Salary: BAT IIa or BAT IIa/2 depending on qualification.
(BAT IIa corresponds to about 60,000 DM/year.)
