REMINDER:
The Hugh Williamson Gait Analysis Laboratory, Melbourne Australia will be
conducting the second course in clinical gait analysis on 26th, 27th & 28th
May, 2000.
This internationally recognised course is designed to provide participants
with an understanding of normal and pathological gait. The focus will be
on the children with neuromuscular disorders including cerebral palsy and
spina bifida. It will be an interactive experience with substantial time
spent interpreting and discussing case examples. This course is intended
for Orthopaedic Surgeons, Physicians, Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists,
Biomedical Engineers and Orthotists; who have an interest in gait, who may
be involved in gait analysis and/or are responsible for the care of
children with motor disorders.
International faculty include:
Jon Davids M.D. Clinical Director, Motion Analysis Laboratory, Shriners
Hospital for Children, U.S., Sylvia Ounpuu MSc, Kinesiologist, Co-Director,
Connecticut Children's Medical Centre & Roy B. Davis III, Biomedical
Engineer, Shriners Hospital for Children.
Local faculty include: Members of the Hugh Williamson Gait Laboratory:
Professor H.Kerr Graham, Gary Nattrass, Roland Starr, Roslyn Boyd & Jill
Rodda.

presentation afternoon with presentations from international faculty as
