  • Employment - Forensic Biomechanics

    FORENSIC BIOMECHANICS
    Vancouver, BC, Canada
    Los Angeles, CA, USA

Do you enjoy solving tough technical problems under strict deadlines?
Are you driven by your own high technical and ethical standards?
Do you work well in an energetic, supportive and motivated team?

If your answer to each question is yes, MacInnis Engineering Associates
(MEA) has the opportunity – and the challenge – you are looking for.

We are seeking two Injury Biomechanists to work on personal injury cases in
our Vancouver and Los Angeles offices. You will work closely with our
biomechanics and accident reconstruction professionals to technically assess
the mechanics of injury and the causal link between an event and injury.

You have a Master’s degree related to injury biomechanics from an
engineering or clinical program, preferably combined with 3 to 5 years of
work or additional research experience in the field of injury biomechanics.
Applicants with engineering backgrounds must have experience in the handling
and mechanical testing of biological tissue; applicants with clinical
backgrounds must demonstrate a thorough and applied understanding of tissue
and injury mechanics. Your academic performance demonstrates your ability to
acquire and integrate knowledge, and your publications demonstrate your
ability to pose and answer technical questions. You must have exceptional
oral and written English language skills. Individuals with less work
experience but outstanding academic performance are also encouraged to
    apply.

With offices in Vancouver BC, Seattle WA and Los Angeles CA, MEA is a
growing forensic engineering firm that specializes in automobile collision
reconstruction, injury biomechanics, fire investigation, product failure,
material failure, slip and fall, and other technical investigations. At MEA,
we provide our staff with a stimulating environment, challenging work and
the technical tools to generate analytical solutions to forensic problems.
We also conduct and publish scientific research to answer questions relevant
to our work. Our salary, culture and benefits are designed to attract and
    keep bright, high-achieving professionals.

If you want varied, exciting and rewarding work, please address your
    detailed Curriculum Vitae to:
