The organisers have great pleasure in inviting you to participate in this
prestigious occasion intended to be a tribute to Professor PER-INGVAR
BRANEMARK, the Father of Osseointegration, who will be among our key
speakers.

The first day Friday 16th June of the Conference will review the -
Past, Present and Future of Osseointegration
in Cranio-Facial, Hand and Orthopaedic Surgery.
The second day Saturday 17th June, will be devoted to the delivery of free
papers and a limited number of invited presentations. Interested
participants who wish to present a free paper are cordially invited to
submit a short résumé of their material. Participants who wish also to
submit poster displays are encouraged to express their interest.
The Scientific programme will be divided into two parallel sessions:
Recent advances in Osseointegration in Orthopaedics
and Hand Surgery and Prosthetics
Recent advances in Osseointegration Cranio-Facial
and Dental Surgery and Prosthetics
There will also be a Poster Exhibition and Trade Displays.
Social programme. A buffet reception will be held on the evening of
Thursday 15th and a formal celebration Banquet on the Friday evening 16th
of June. Both events will take place at the University of Surrey Campus.
Special event. The Norman Rowe Educational Trust will host a cultural event
at midday on the Friday 16th of June which will be followed by an informal
reception.
Workshops.
1) Thursday 15th June - Advances in Facial and Body Prosthetics will be
presented by Mr Peter Evans
2) Thursday 15th June - The Role of the Zygomatic Implant in
Reconstruction will be presented by Mr Peter Blenkinsopp
3) Sunday 18th June - Advances in the Prosthetic Management of the
Craniofacial Resection Patient will be presented by Mr Brian Conroy
Accommodation will be available at the UniS Campus in good quality en-suite
single rooms. Several packages are on offer in relation to the number of
nights accommodation delegates may require. A day-only attendance package
is available for those who do not require accommodation. Several premiere
hotels are situated in and around Guildford and details of these can also
be provided on request.
We hope that all those, who are interested in the delivery and development
of Osseointegration implant based rehabilitation, will accept the
organisers' invitation to participate in the Conference which is intended
to be a formal Tribute to Professor Per-Ingvar Branemark to mark his unique
contribution to Research, Surgery, Prosthetics, Technology and Humanity.
The arrangements for the Scientific programme are now in an advanced stage
and at this time, the following keynote speakers Clinicians, Scientists,
Engineers and Prosthetists have confirmed their intention to contribute.
