  • Re: Force and Movement sensors in Animals

    Hi Massimiliano,

Go and see the UC Davis Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital web site.
There is an article on their web site detailing their use of force and
pressure (Tekscan's F- Scan in-shoe system) for the evaluation of lameness
of horses. Their address is www.vmth.ucdavis.edu. Go to the "What's new"
link and then click on "Lameness in Horses".

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Norman

    Dear list members,

I'm looking for data about sensors for force and movement in animals,
in order to do a comparative table. In particular I'm interested in
receiving some information about fishes, birds, reptiles and
mammalian. What I need is just an example for each subject.

Could you please help me with some good reference (Web
    site, article, book)?

    TIA
    Massimiliano
