  • EMG - Deltoïde

    Dear Biomech-l subscribers,

I am a Ph-D Student at the University of Valenciennes, France.
I am currently working on a measurement protocol of shoulder
muscles EMG activity, and especially of the Deltoïd activity
    (anterior, middle and posterior parts).

    My question is :
Is it possible to differentiate the three parts of the deltoïd muscle
    with surface electromyography ?

Indeed, according to our own experience, manual muscle tests
are not enougth selective (even with internal EMG measurements)
and the literature I have consulted does not give us an answer.

Thank you very much for your answers,

    Best regards
