Are there any international funding programmes for equine biomechnanics research?

Dear Colleagues

We have a small research group here at University of Limerick (Ireland)
working on equine biomechanics research, mainly on jumping biomechanics. In
Ireland there are no specialised funding programmes for this type of
research. Does anyone know of any international funding programmes for
equine biomechanics research? I have searched various sources via the
internet and found several sites in Canada, USA and Australia - but the
programmes are restricted (understandably) to their own country.
Secondly, are there any colleagues interested in possible collaboration in
the area of equine jumping biomechanics - if so I'd be interested to hear
from you.
