Smith & Nephew, Inc., has immediate openings for the following positions in
the Memphis-based Orthopaedic Global Business Unit.
Manager Tribology Support
Hands on, task oriented management of tribology department. Responsible for
maintaining expert knowledge in tribology and to anticipate future technical
requirements. Also responsible for the management of engineers, engineer
associates, and technicians. Ability to work with/on Research and
Development project teams. Strong oral and written communication skills
required.
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (MS preferred) and a
minimum of five (5) years engineering experience, of which two years were as
a project manager or equivalent. Previous tribology experience and external
publications/presentations preferred.
