I have been working on fatigue properties of human cartilage and I
designed and built by myself a machine to apply a tensile load on a
very little specimen (9mm long). In the meantime I was looking
around for buying a machine with similar characteristics and less
problems! Load range is about 1N and deformation of 15mm.
Has somebody any information where to look? Or suggestions about
what type of attuator I can use? At the moment I am using an
electric motor with a cam to unload the specimen but it gives me
some trouble!
Thank you very much for your attention.
