SUMMER TEACHING OPPORTUNITIES WITH HIGHLY ABLE YOUTH
The Johns Hopkins University/Center for Talented Youth (CTY) and Center for
Academic Advancement are looking a lab assistants to assist in teaching
"Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine"
(http://www.jhu.edu/gifted/caa/science.htm#ephy) in a summer residential
programs for academically talented students.
The course will be taught at Hood College in Frederick, MD. JHU/CTY pays a
competitive salary and provides room and board on the college campus; staff
are responsible for their own travel expenses to and from the site. Dates
for the two three-week sessions are June 25-July 14 and/or July 16-August 5.
We have the following openings as of Tuesday, May 16th.
Lab assistant typically undergraduate students majoring in physical
education or biology, experience working with adolescents, and a minimum of
a 3.2 gpa. Salary is $900/session with room and board provided on campus.
