    > The conference aims at the stimulation of interaction in the area of upper
    > extremity research, and especially the shoulder joint. Papers in the

    > of ergonomics, rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology and sports are
    > invited
    > from people involved in fundamental and applied research as well as
    > clinical
    > practice. Due to the small scale of the conference, the interaction
    > between
    > delegates is expected to be quite informal. All attendees are invited to
    > bring
    > samples of their recent publications to share with other participants.

    > Abstracts
    >
    > Abstracts of one side of A4 should be submitted to the name and address
    > given below by Monday, 3 July 2000. Each speaker will be allotted 20
    > minutes,
    > 15 minutes presentation time and 5 minutes question time. Authors will be
    > asked to submit a four page paper at the time of the conference to be
    > included
    > in the book of conference proceedings. Authors will be notified of
    > acceptance of
    > abstracts by 19 July 2000. Abstracts may be sent in either paper or
    > electronic
    > format. (Word, RTF, or PDF preferred.)

    > Registration
    >
    > The cost of early registration is £85 (approx. EUR139) for ISB members and
    > £90
    > (approx. EUR147) for non-members, to be paid by 7 August 2000. After this

    > the cost of registration will be approx. 10% higher. The cost of

    > lunches, tea/coffee, dinner on the Monday evening and the cost of
