Dear friends, I would like to give you the last invitation to a =
conference which will be held in a beautiful Polish mountain ski resort.
International Scientific Conference
?MOTOR CONTROL 2000?
Department of Motor Control
Academy of Physical Education in Katowice
Katowice ? Szczyrk
Poland
27-29.10.2000
Invitation
Motor control of human movement is a very important and undoubtedly =
fascinating area of scientific penetration for many specialists. Despite =
a vast amount of empirical data, many unexplained questions remain. The =
complexity of motor control seems even greater when considering the =
multidisciplinary character of procedures, diagnostic methods and =
reliable analysis of human movement. All of the above facts become =
reasons of diversification in interpretations and evaluation of these =
processess. They continue to generate controversies in basic =
terminology.
The organisation of this conference, as a form of bilateral exchange of =
ideas and empirical data seems to be fully justified. We would like to =
continue ? in broader form ? the cycle of seminars concerning motor =
control, which was held in our department during the last three years. =
We expect, that our meeting allow to present contemporary knowledge and =
the state of research and discuss the tendencies and perspectives of =
development. We belive that the confrontation of Polish and =
international scientists will allow to determine the state of our =
knowledge in light of world achievements.
We definitly hope, that the conference becomes a place not only for =
scientific discussions, but also for friendly contacts.
We kindly invite you!

The organization of congress
The congres will held in four plenary session with invited lectures (all =

overview of relevant literature.
Methods. The subjects should be precisely described. In case of =
experimental procedures on people, a statement about informed consent =
must be provided. The procedures should be reasonably described to =
provide sufficient understanding. State the statistical methods used for =
data analysis.
Results. Limit the number of tables and figures to a minimum and use =
them only as a qualification and support for your statements. Do not =
duplicate information in tables and figures. All given units should be =
according to the international metric system. Define the abbreviations =
and symbols. The results should be presented in a logical order.
