The Department of Physical Therapy of National Cheng Kung University invites applications for two faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate/Full Professor levels.
Two full-time, 12-month faculty positions are available for qualified candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: Pediatrics, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Neurology or in other areas that are complimentary to the teaching and research interest of the existing faculty members.
The candidate must be a physical therapist, have a minimum of 2 years clinical experience, possess a Ph.D. degree in an applicable discipline. Prior teaching experience preferred.
The progressive integrated curriculum and environment of the department supports excellence in teaching, scholarship and clinical practice. The successful applicant will be expected to teach in his/her area of expertise, participate in/develop a research program, serve on committees and take part in professional organizations at local, national and international levels. Involvement in the clinical practice will be mandatory at the assistant professor level.
Research and scholarly efforts are strongly supported through laboratory space, equipment and start-up funding. Rank and salary are competitive and commensurate with experience.
