Hello Dear Colleagues:
I am interested in studies quantifying the properties of soft tissues (fat,
muscles, fluids, skin, etc) tissues under constant compressive stress. Does
anybody know something (references would be mostly appreciated) in relation
to the properties of these tissues when, for instance, they are compressed
during sitting? How long does it take for these tissues (of the gluteus area)
to accomodate and reach equilibrium after loading?
I thank all replies in advance and I will pose a summary as soon as possible.
