This brings up a good question. What designs are ethical committees
allowing? Perhaps this setup would be OK for animal research but possibly
not for use on humans. It seems to me that optical isolation would be one
requirement. Perhaps another would be a limit on current that could be fed
back to the person under test.
Does a testing agency like the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) test
or provide safety parameters for biomedical equipment?
