  • Re: Geometry of human leg bones

    Dear Biomch-L readers,

In replay to Venka Somayji's query for the information on geometric
details of the human femur, if I can suggest, maybe the following
    abstract will be useful:

    Bignardi C., Gielo-Perczak K. " Mechanical aspect of 3-dimensional
modelling of femoral loads " in Proceedings of the VIIth Meeting of
the European Society of Biomechanics, Aarhus, July 8-11, 1990, Denmark.

Also the contact via email with dr.Christina Bignardi from Technical
University of Torino ( BIGNARDI@ITOPOLI.BITNET ) will be helpful.
Christina has access to the documentation of the 3D geometry and FEM
    analysis of the femur.
