The objective of this one-day seminar is to address new and recent
advances being made in dental research and technology. The meeting
will consist of invited lectures presented by distinguished contributors
and these will be complemented by oral and poster presentations
provided by the participants. Participants will also be encouraged to
provide a one-page synopsis or their research output and interests,
which will be included within the seminar pack. In this way it is
envisaged that communication between existing and emerging groups
involved within a wide range of dental research and technology can be
highlighted.
Suggested Topics for Presentation:
** Dental restorative materials and systems
Arial** Dental implants, bridges, prosthesis, cements and ceramics
Times New Roman** Implant stability and osseointegration
** Biomaterials, interfaces and novel adhesives
** Modelling of dental appliances and systems
** Photonics in dentistry
** Techniques for pre-clinical testing and evaluation
** Medical imaging/scanning in dentistry/orthodontics
** Practiced based research and testing
As the meeting is sponsored the fee including lunch, coffees breaks and
the seminar pack is £40.
Researchers, clinicians, laboratories, research centres and industrial
