I am a graduate student working on my thesis at Rose-Hulman Institute of
Technology. My thesis involves a finite element analyis of a human humerus.
For this analysis, I need to reproduce the geometry (dimensions) of the bone
accurately, but I do not have much if any information regarding the internal
geometry (where the marrow resides). I do have approximately 300 points on the
surface of the humerus with which I can create part of a finite element mesh.
Any help or suggestions regarding this problem would be greatly appreciated.
