Description:
The Clinical Motor Control Laboratory at the University of Illinois at
Chicago is currently seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to join
several studies we are conducting on movement control in normal
subjects, and patients with Parkinson's disease. The research involves
studying the effects of medication, disease severity, and deep brain
stimulation on the muscle activation patterns associated with different
types movements. The applicant will benefit from the mentorship of
Daniel Corcos and Zia Hasan In addition, the applicant will benefit
from collaborations with Gerald Gottlieb and John Rothwell.
Salary is contingent on educational background & experience.
Qualifications:
Applicants will be expected to hold an earned doctorate in Kinesiology,
Biomedical Engineering or related discipline, with a record of research
in motor control, neuroscience, or related field.
