Becker Orthopedic is a leading manufacturer of orthotic componentry located
in Troy, Michigan. We are currently seeking to fill the following position:
TITLE: Product Development Engineer
The successful candidate will be involved with all aspects of product design
and also support manufacturing engineering and quality assurance activities.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills: experience in
mechanical design, competence in general computing, software, and hardware,
familiarity with computer aided design systems, ability to interact and
collaborate with affiliated staff.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Baccalaureate or Masters degree in one of the following
areas: biomechanical engineering, mechanical engineering, biomedical
engineering or human factors engineering. Experience with elements of
design, including concept, development, testing, quality assurance, and
post-production support are recommended. Knowledge and experience in use of
CAD, testing and measurement techniques are preferred. Solid background in
anatomy desired.
Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
