DEPARTMENT OF ORTHOPAEDIC SURGERY
LECTURER IN BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING
This post was established to co-ordinate and lead research in the field
of Biomedical Engineering within the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery,
and more widely in the Musculo-Skeletal Research Group. The post will
be based in the newly-opened laboratories of the Bristol Implant
Research Centre, at Southmead Hospital's Avon Orthopaedic Centre. The
appointee will be expected to build on the strong collaboration that
exists with the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Bath.
With a proven track record in productive research, you will also possess
at least a Master's Degree, and preferably a PhD, in Biomedical
Engineering or a related specialty.
Salary within the range of 17,755 - 27,222 Pounds.
