Assistant Professor, Biomechanics
The Department of Biology at the University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs (UCCS) invites applications for a tenure track Assistant
Professor position in BIOMECHANICS beginning Aug 01. The Department
has strong academic and research programs in metabolism, biochemistry,
molecular biology, cell biology, physiology and immunology.
Candidates should have a Ph.D in biomechanics/kineseology and
postdoctoral experience is preferred. The successful candidate will
be expected to develop a strong externally funded research program,
teach at the undergraduate and graduate level, and direct graduate
students. Teaching responsibilities include statistics and
undergraduate and graduate biomechanics.
Review of applications will begin 1 Dec 00 and continue until the
