Dear Members,
As a postgraduate engineering student, I am currently working on the
design of a multi-functional mobile chair suitable for heavily dependant
patients - be they elderly or disabled. Due to the nature of the chair,
it does not fit neatly into the 'Wheelchair' category, and I am having
endless trouble trying to track down suitable standards for the design.
Can anyone advise on standards relating to
reclining/tilt-in-space/multifunctional chairs, other than BS 7176?
Thank you in advance,
Yours sincerely,
John Tiernan
