VA Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Gait Lab has full and part time
positions available for a biomedical engineer. The position includes
responsibility for clinical gait analysis of various patient populations
including frail elderly, individuals with amputations, stroke, and
Parkinson's disease. Part of the responsibility of these positions will be
to assist in the development of clinical policies for gait analysis. The
PM&R Gait Lab has a 6 camera motion analysis system with 2 force plates and
16 channel telemetry EMG equipment as well as pressure sensors for buttock
and foot pressures.
