Dear Biomech-l participants,
I am seeking for the waterproof one-component force transducer and the
waterproof pressure sensor for open water sports measurement. We have our
own portable data logger system (8 channels) to collect analog signal from
the sensors. We need the waterproof sensor because the whole measuring
system (sensors and data logger) may submerge into the water during the
measurement. We would like to use the waterproof sensors on rowing (insole
pressure), fin-swimming (insole pressure), sailing (tension and insole
pressure) or wind surfing (insole pressure and tension).
I did find some waterproof force platforms but it is difficult to find the
waterproof force and pressure sensor. Several of pressure sensor systems,
such as Pedar, F-scan or Footscan, are not waterproof and can't be used
with our own data logger system. Does anyone have idea or information on
the waterproof force sensor and the pressure sensor in such situation? Any
comments or information are welcome.
Thank you,
Jim
