    The following may be of interest to doctoral or post doctoral individuals
    who have specialized in biomechanics and who are seeking employment in the
    greater Washington, DC - Baltimore area.

    Start Date: January 24, 2001.
    Ending Date: May 25, 2001
    Department: Kinesiology
    Employment Status: Part-time

    Salary: $5,000 (with additional possible for summer employment )
    Deadline: IMMEDIATE until filled

    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    Lecturer for a 300-level Biomechanics class required of all majors in
    Kinesiology
    and Physical Education. Lectures are Tuesday and Thursday from
    5:30-6:45pm. Students also
    attend lab sections conducted by graduate assistants. In addition to
    giving lectures
    and administering exams, the position requires supervision of graduate
    assistants
    and maintaining regular office hours


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    *Minimum of Master's degree in a related area or equivalent expertise in
    biomechanics.
    *Previous teaching experience desirable
    *Understanding of basic computer hardware and software.
    *Excellent communication skills.
