Can anyone suggest any references regarding the structural properties
of the bony endplate of the lumbar vertebral body (thickness, density, Young's
Modulus, strength). I have examined finite element models in the literature,
in which properties have been assigned to the endplate, but I am uncertain how
this data was obtained and what the typical variations might be. Any
information or comments would be greatly appreciated.
