A good thing to know is that the word 'latex' is also a
colloquialism for almost any kind of elastomer. Besides
latex as such, other common elastomers used for internal
casts are quick-cure dental polysiloxanes, polyurethanes,
and some acrylics (though acrylics are for rigid casts).
Try BJB in Tustin, CA for the polyurethanes, and Dow
for the polysils (though dental supply houses will have
some in easy-to-use twin injectable tubes, as those are
used in The Chair to get quick impressions of teeth).
