The University of Iowa Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks applications
for a new full-time Assistant Research Scientist position in upper extremity
research, being created in our Biomechanics Laboratory. Candidates should

engineering related to orthopaedic biomechanics. The goal is to enhance our
upper extremity research within the existing framework of our laboratory.
The ideal candidate for this position would be a recent engineering Ph.D.
seeking a career path in clinically-oriented biomechanics research related
