    Endowed Chair: Neurorehabilitation

    The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of
    Kentucky College of Medicine has a newly created Chair of
    Neurorehabilitation, endowed by Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital,
    with endowed Professorships in Spinal Cord Injury and Brain Injury
    Clinical Research to follow. The successful applicant will be a senior
    level investigator with an established record of clinical investigation
    and funding in Neurorehabilitation research who will work to develop a
    clinical research program of national prominence. The endowed chair
    will enjoy extensive opportunities for collaboration through an
    affiliation with the Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Center, which
    brings together investigators from Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation,
    Physical Therapy, Biomedical Engineering, Anatomy & Neurobiology, and
    Physiology. Existing facilities include a 473-bed Level 1 trauma center,
    108-bed free standing rehabilitation hospital and General Clinical
    Research Center. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with
    qualifications and experience of the applicant.
