  • Faculty Position in Applied Biomechanics

    The Department of Kinesiology of the University invites applications for
    a tenure track appointment in Applied Biomechanics. Qualifications
    include a Ph.D in Exercise Science or a related area with a
    specialization in biomechanics, and a record of scholarly achievement or
    evidence of the ability to establish such a record. Post doctoral
    experience, athletic training certification, or physical therapy
    licensure are also highly desired. Responsibilities will involve
    teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in biomechanics, academic
    advising, supervision of undergraduate and graduate (MS, PhD) research,
    and participation in departmental, college, and university service. It
    is expected that the individual hired for this position will establish a
    strong nationally visible research program and compete successfully for
    external funding. The rank and salary for the position are open, and
    will be commensurate with the individuals experience and past record of
