Final Call For Papers
ISB Technical Group on Footwear Biomechanics "Fifth Symposium"
Date:July 5 7, 2001
Congress Venue: Main building of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology,
ETH Zuerich, Zuerich, Switzerland
The Fifth Symposium of the Technical Group on Footwear Biomechanics will be
held July 5-7, 2001 in Zuerich / Switzerland. Following successful previous
meetings in Calgary, Cologne, Tokyo, and Canmore the Symposium will include
invited speakers, free communication and discussion forums. The symposium
will directly precede the International Society of Biomechanics XVIIIth
Congress being held from July 8-13, in Zuerich.
Important Dates:
February 15, Paper Submission Deadline
April 1, Notification of Acceptance
May 1, Early Registration
July 5, Welcome Reception
July 6, Scientific Sessions
July 7, Scientific Sessions and Banquet
July 8, ISB Congress Welcome Reception
A short 2-page paper should be submitted via e-mail by February 15, 2001 to
ewald.hennig@uni-essen.de . More information on the symposium and
instructions for paper submission can be found at the following website.

Three awards (each US$ 1000) are sponsored by Adidas (Applied Research
Award), Mizuno (Young Investigator Award), and Nike (Basic Research Award).
Each presenter will automatically take part in the competition, and the
winners will be announced during the banquet dinner, July 7th.
