POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN HUMAN MOVEMENT CONTROL
A postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Physiology,
University of Adelaide, Australia to work on an NHMRC funded project
entitled "Cortical control of the fingers in humans". The project will
use non-invasive transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to study the
operation of the corticospinal system in humans as they perform tasks
requiring precise control of fingers and thumb. Experience with
neurophysiological techniques such as TMS and electromyography is an
advantage, but is not essential. Individuals with a PhD in
neuroscience, and an interest in the control of movement in humans are
invited to apply.
This position is available from February 2001, and will continue until
