  • New technical openings - Vicon Motion Systems - Oxford UK

Vicon Motion Systems is a leading manufacturer of systems and software for
3D motion measurement and analysis. We are looking for individuals with
special talents to take responsibility for assisting our customers and
prospects in the growing area of Science and Engineering covering clinical
gait labs, biomechanical research facilities, ergonomic and animal labs.

It is given that applicants will have a strong academic background with
above average ability in math and science and fluency with computer systems
    and software.

But you need to show clearly in your application that you offer more than
    that, including:

Communication skills that allow you to train new users in one to one or
    group situations,
Problem solving skills to work through software or hardware related
    problems,
Personal motivation and organisation to work unsupervised, often in distant
    corners of the world,
Pride in your own ability to represent a company that prides itself on
    professionalism.

Current positions are based in Oxford UK with up to 40% of international
travel. Oxford is our headquarters where we work in an informal but
professional atmosphere and you will have close interactions with all
aspects of the business. Career prospects are excellent in a rapidly growing
technology company with a long track record of success.

Candidates must be citizens of the EU or already holding a long term work
permit for Europe and fluent in spoken and written English.

Please send CV and other appropriate documents via email to
    science_careers@metrics.co.uk.

    Thank you.
