  • Exercise Physiology Faculty Position

    Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology or Exercise Science
    Full-time, Tenure-track Assistant Professor
    Allied Health Sciences, Lyndon State College

    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Teach courses in area of expertise: to include Exercise Physiology,
    Musculoskeletal/Neuromuscular Anatomy, Human Anatomy, and Human Physiology.
    Assist in assessing the current Health Sciences degree program,
    in developing new programs in Allied Health Sciences and supporting new
    programs
    in Nursing and Physical Therapy.
    Assist in supervising internships and advising majors.
    Assist in developing the College's teaching and research laboratories.

    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or related field
    with excellent background in Human Anatomy and Physiology.
    (ABD considered - reasonable future completion of doctorate expected).
    Commitment to teaching excellence at the college level.
    Proficient with contemporary instructional, laboratory, and information
    technologies.
    Commitment to scholarship and professional development.
    Commitment to collegial and community service.

    SALARY:
    Based on qualifications and experience as defined by VSC-VSCFF Agreement.
    Generous benefits package.

    STARTING DATE:
    September 4, 2001, pending final budgetary approval.
