RESEARCH ENGINEER
BIOMECHANICS
The Transportation Research Center Inc. is seeking a biomechanics research eng
ineer to conduct and manage projects in its Vehicle Research and Test Division
. Position entails conducting research and testing related to the biomechanic
s of vehicle occupants and pedestrians including evaluation, design, and devel
opment of crash test dummies.
Candidates should have BS or MS in mechanical or biomedical engineering (or co
mparable discipline) with demonstrated knowledge of mathematics, engineering m
echanics, mechanical engineering, structures, and machine design. Excellent w
ritten and verbal communications required. Experience or interest in transpor
tation-related research environment preferred. Please reference open job 20
