  • Faculty Position - Biomechanics

    Biomechanics/Exercise Science -- Pacific University

    Pacific University seeks a tenure-track assistant/associate professor with a
    doctorate in biomechanics or closely related field to start August 2001.
    Athletic Training Certification desired but not necessary. Responsibilities
    include teaching courses in biomechanics, kinesiology, and motor
    control/learning. Additional duties include supervising undergraduate
    research and internships. The Exercise Science program at Pacific
    University is a young, vibrant, science-based undergraduate program that is
    housed in the Division of Natural Sciences. The program prepares students
    for, and strongly articulates with, Pacific’s graduate programs in allied
    health sciences, including physical therapy, physician assistant studies,
    and occupational therapy. New faculty will help shape this new
    well-equipped undergraduate program. Pacific University is a small, liberal
    arts school located 25 miles west of Portland and 60 miles from the coast.
