The Department of Kinesiology and Health Education invites outstanding
candidates to apply for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in
Biomechanics.
Rank: Assistant Professor
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include supervising graduate students in
research and internships, teaching at the undergraduate and graduate
levels, attracting extramural funding, and service to the department and
university.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. or equivalent
degree in biomechanics, engineering, or related field, and will have
demonstrated success in seeking extramural funding and excellence in
teaching. Preference will be given to those applicants with clinical
experience (e.g., clinical/rehabilitation biomechanics, sport biomechanics,
ergonomics).
Start Date: August, 2001
Application: Send a letter of application detailing teaching and research
experience with a statement of career goals. Along with your letter of
application, include a vita and the names, addresses and phone numbers of
three references. At least one of your referees should be able to
