We have a Sports Biomechanist vacancy here at the Hong Kong Sports

Hong Kong Sports Development Board is the statutory body responsible for the
development of sport and training of elite athletes for Hong Kong. We
invite suitable candidates for the following positions:
SPORT BIOMECHANIST
THE JOB
Reporting to the Head, Technical Services, the Sport Biomechanist will be
responsible for the following duties: -
To supervise the overall work of the Sports Biomechanics Unit.
To provide the appropriate support in sports biomechanics to coaches and
elite athletes to enhance their sporting performance.
To work closely with other professional staff to ensure cost-effective
support being given to elite athletes and coaches.
To conduct applied research projects and publish the findings in refereed
journals.
To implement exchange programmes and networking with overseas and local
institutions in the area of sports biomechanics.
THE REQUIREMENTS
A doctoral degree in sports biomechanics or relevant field.
A minimum of 5 years¡¦ experience in working with coaches and elite
athletes, and conducting research in sports biomechanics to help enhance the
athletes¡¦ performance.
Good command in spoken and written English. Knowledge of Chinese will be a
definite advantage.
Good understanding on operating Peak Performance System and Force Platform.
Good connection with local or overseas institutions that are reputable for
sports biomechanics research.
