Graduate assistantships are available in the Biomechanics Laboratory
at East Carolina University in Fall, 2001. Students will pursue a Master's
degree in exercise science for two years. Laboratory work focuses on the
biomechanical and motor control mechanisms of neuromechanical adaptations to
exercise in rehabilitation settings and in aging. The students will also
have collaboration with the Human Performance Lab, an exercise physiology
and health and fitness testing facility. Stipend is $9,700 for 12 months.
