The University of Mississippi, Department of Exercise Science & Leisure
Management, has a full time tenure track position within the Division of
Exercise Science beginning August 2001. Qualified applicants should 1) have
an earned doctorate with specialization in motor control, biomechanics, or
related field; 2) have teaching experience within the discipline; and, 3)
have a publication and grant record commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: 1)
teaching undergraduate and graduate classes in motor control, motor
learning, kinesiology and biomechanics; 2) conducting and publishing
scholarly research; 3) advising undergraduate and graduate students; 4)
directing theses and dissertations; 5) pursuing external funding; and, 6)
performing service activities. The Division of Exercise Science offers BS,
MS, and PhD programs. Review of complete applications will begin March 30,
2001 and will continue until the position is filled. Send letter of
