As a result of Vicon Motion System's success in 3D movement analysis for
Science, Engineering, and Animation we are seeking candidates for new
positions to be located in our Orange County, California office. These new
positions have been created to ensure our continued success in areas
critical to our growth - providing high quality training, installation and
integration service, and support to our end users.
Training and Support Specialist:
Qualified candidates for this position should have a technical background
(Engineering, Science, Biomechanics, or similar) and proven track record in
the area of training customers and end users. A background in course
development and delivery methods, learning aids including online tutorials
and other CBT methods are big pluses for the ideal candidate.
This specialist will also be called on to assist customers in their use of
Vicon Motion Systems hardware and software. In addition, they will get
involved in the demonstration and installation of Vicon systems at customer
sites, conferences, and trade shows.
Candidate must be willing to re-locate to Southern California and be
proficient in written and spoken English. Domestic travel on a regular
basis with some international travel will also be required.
Integration and Installation Specialist:
Qualified candidates for this position should have above average technical
background (Engineering, Science, Biomechanics, or similar) and a proven
track record in large system installation, integration, and support. Ideal
candidates will have had multiple years in customer facing positions like
Technical Support, Field Service, Project Management, or Application
Engineering. Experience in a programming language (C++ or similar),
internet languages (HTML, JAVA Script, or similar), or relational database
management are also a big plus.
This specialist will also be called on to assist customers in their use of
Vicon Motion Systems hardware and software. In addition, they will get
involved in the demonstration and installation of Vicon systems at customer
sites, conferences, and trade shows.
Candidate must be willing to re-locate to Southern California and be
proficient in written and spoken English. Domestic travel on a regular
basis with some international travel will also be required.
